Genesis Worldwide Named One Of 50 Arizona Companies To Watch

Genesis BuildingSedona, AZ (June 4, 2007) - The Arizona Small Business Association, along with The Edward Lowe Foundation, recently honored Companies To Watch for the second year in a row. This year, Genesis Worldwide Enterprises was one of 50 companies recognized from over 200 nominations.

To be recognized as a Company To Watch, nominated businesses must be a second-stage company, meaning that the organization has from 10 to 100 employees, $1 million to $100 million in annual revenue or working capital, and exhibits the ability to grow. In Arizona alone, there more than 20,000 businesses which fit this description.

Genesis Worldwide Enterprises is a successful global supply chain partner, specializing in product development, manufacturing, sourcing and warehousing services. It received its award from the Arizona Small Business Association after meeting a long list of the organization's criteria.

"We are proud of the positive impact that we have on the lives of others: our customers, employees and suppliers," said Chief Operating Officer Lucinda Olson. "We do what we do because we value creating abundance for all. Our relationships with each other, our customers and our vendors are of paramount importance to our success. We also believe that every idea is worth exploring and we demonstrate this in our enthusiastic, pioneering and innovative spirit."

One example of such innovation is seen through the company's emphasis on conducting business in an environmentally sustainable manner. CEO Bob Flynn noted "Our facility is powered by the second largest private commercial solar photovoltaic power system in Arizona. Not only does this system provide for our own facility's electricity needs, it also generates excess power, which is then sold back into the grid. We do this not only because it makes financial and environmental sense, but to demonstrate that profitability and environmentally friendly initiatives can coincide."

Genesis Worldwide Enterprises is located in Arizona approximately 100 miles north of Phoenix.
